The foundation of Siksha Swasthya Evam Gram Vikash Samiti (SSGVS) was laid by a group of socially committed individuals, led by Shri Prabuddh Kumar, who shared a common vision of improving the quality of life in rural Uttar Pradesh. Established in Jaunpur, the society emerged from the realization that poverty, illiteracy, and lack of healthcare are interconnected challenges that can only be solved through collective efforts.
In its early years, SSGVS started small—conducting literacy drives, health awareness camps, and campaigns against social evils such as dowry, child marriage, and alcoholism. Gradually, it expanded its scope by launching vocational training for women and youth, promoting sustainable agriculture practices, and initiating health services for vulnerable communities.
One of the major milestones in SSGVS's history was the introduction of the Nursery Teacher Training (NTT), Diploma in Yoga Course, etc which opened opportunities for young women to pursue careers in education. Over time, SSGVS has become a trusted name in rural development, with a strong presence in education, healthcare, and community empowerment. Its journey reflects the power of persistence, vision, and grassroots leadership.
Vision:
To build an inclusive and self-reliant society where education, health, and economic empowerment reach every household, ensuring equal opportunities for growth, dignity, and sustainability.
Mission:
To establish and operate schools, training centers, and vocational institutions to strengthen education and skill development.
To deliver accessible and affordable healthcare through awareness campaigns, free medical camps, and community health centers.
To empower women and marginalized communities by promoting self-help groups, small-scale industries, and livelihood programs.
To fight against social evils like illiteracy, dowry, alcoholism, child labor, and gender discrimination through awareness and action.
To conserve the environment through afforestation, pollution control, and sustainable agricultural practices.
At SSGVS, our mission is guided by the belief that true social change comes from community participation. Every initiative is designed to empower people with knowledge, resources, and opportunities, creating long-term solutions rather than short-term relief.

Founder & President
Shri Prabuddh Kumar, Founder and President of SSGVS, is a visionary social reformer dedicated to the upliftment of rural communities in Uttar Pradesh. His life has been shaped by the realities of rural struggles—lack of access to education, healthcare, and livelihood opportunities—that motivated him to create an organization for social change.
Under his leadership, SSGVS was founded as a platform to bring together education, health, and rural development initiatives under one umbrella. His philosophy is simple yet powerful: true empowerment begins with education and health, and is sustained by economic self-reliance.
Shri Prabuddh Kumar’s dedication has enabled SSGVS to grow from small awareness campaigns to structured programs like vocational training, health camps, and skill development for youth and women. He is respected not only as a leader but also as a mentor, inspiring volunteers and community members to contribute towards building a better society.
Through his visionary guidance, SSGVS continues to expand its impact, reaching more villages and transforming lives.
